Here at Katie's Corgis, we breed high-quality, healthy, unique Cardigan Welsh Corgis. All our animals are a part of our family and so are their babies! All of the dogs in our Breeding Program are Embark DNA tested and several have completed CAER & OFA examinations, though some are still pending. We take great pride in the steps we have taken to care for our dogs here.
We are originally from the beautiful as ever Washington State but now find ourselves in the hot and humid North Florida. Washington will always be our home but we prefer a simple life in a place we can easily have a farm.
We are a small human family of four...so far. Me, Katie, the owner and operator. Husband, Vlad, the builder. Sons, Gabriel & Joseph, have the biggest job of all, they help socializes, desensitize, and play with our puppies. Vlad and I have been married since 2019 and love our life together. We are beyond blessed to have such a perfect "to us" family.
In 2018 I graduated from Central Washington University with two Bachelors degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I decided to set my Masters' Degree and dream of becoming a Forensic Psychologist aside to be home with my son and corgis. I am happy with my decision. Vlad is a Safety and Health Specialist at a shipyard, he also graduated from Central Washington University in 2016. He plans to continue his education to be an Industrial Hygienist.
How it all started...
After saving a corgi from a bad situation back in 2010, I instantly fell in love with the breed and knew I wanted to share them with families seeking their new best friend! I made it my mission to breed only top-quality, healthy dogs who are genetically and temperamentally sound & I have searched all over the world for the best, unique dogs to join our family and breeding program.
